Ms. Speare is a Vice President based in Westport’s Connecticut office and serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer.

Before joining Westport, Ms. Speare worked at ACA Group as an outsourced Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Principal Consultant. In this role, she developed and oversaw compliance programs for multiple hedge fund, private equity and venture capital firms. Prior to ACA, she served as a Senior Examiner at UBS Financial Services, and as a Vice President of Compliance at a Miami-based firm where she supervised offices located in South America.

Ms. Speare was a Dean’s Scholar at Cornell University, where she received a bachelor’s degree from the School of Hotel Administration (now part of the SC Johnson College of Business).
