Ms. Chen is a Vice President and Fund Controller based in the Connecticut office.

Prior to joining Westport, Ms. Chen was a Fund Controller at Heartwood Partners, where she was responsible for the fund financial operations & reporting and assisted in investment transaction closing. Prior to joining Heartwood, she worked as a Senior Manager at Sanne, a global provider of asset management services, based in New York office. Prior to joining Sanne, she was an Accounting Manager and spent ten years in accounting for private equity, venture capital and natural resources funds at Commonfund Capital, a global private equity investment firm, based in Wilton, CT.

Ms. Chen holds a B.A. from Nankai University, Tianjin China, and an M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma with a partial study from NYU Stern School of Business. She passed all parts of the CPA exam.
